Just My 2 Cents
The A5/S5 was only released a couple of years ago and the Cabrio less than a year. With its scarcity, I highly doubt Audi will give it too much of a facelift. I would say the rims, grill, and some small interior options would be all I could imagine being updated. Perhpas in a year or two, we may see some more obvious changes, but not MY 2011. Just can't imagine someone buying say a 2010 S5 Cabrio (first year available) and 6 months later the car is noticeably different. Anyone have other thoughts?

What I'd like to see across the A4/S4/A5/S5 lines is a restyled dashboard eliminating the "acres of cheap silver plastic" surrounding the instruments and replacing it with a much richer looking and feeling material. I just hate the B8's dash and might not get an Audi when current '08 lease is up because I can't stand looking at that kind of cheapness when I am driving. Worse than a Ford Focus IMHO

I call false on the "couple of years ago" statement.
The first (and current) generation has been out since 2007 in Europe and 2008 in the U.S.A. Now if I'm not mistaken 2007-2010 makes it three years; and four for the 2011 model.
I can bet there WILL be a facelift. Although, a refresh is unlikely for 2011, since things are very quiet for it. Regardless, minor changes seem very plausible and we'll here something soon.

I don't know what that facelift will entail, though.

Worldwide, the S5 coupe will receive the supercharged gasoline DOHC 24V 3L V6 with or without valve-lift (with a 7,000 RPM redline producing 329/333/245 SAE hp/DIN hp/kw from 6,250 to 6,700 RPM and 325 lbs-ft of torque/440 nm from 2,400 to 6,250 RPM) in calendar year 2011 for model year 2012 (with the model year 2012 freshening for all vehicles on the B8 platform).
In calendar year 2011 for model year 2012, the dinosaur ZF six-speed Tiptronic automatic and dinosaur Borg Warner or Getrag seven-speed R-Tronic semi automatic transmissions will be discontinued and replaced by the far superior (in every conceivable way other than being more expensive, I might add ) Borg Warner seven-speed S-Tronic direct shift gearbox transmissions on all S, RS and R models worldwide.
