Default Only 2 really worthwhile exterior treatments - 1) clear bra 2) tint

and you'll pay more for them at the dealer but the convenience may be worth it.

Default If it's included in the contract you signed then you bought it.

Now they MIGHT be nice and, out of goodwill, let you out of that portion of the contract but they would not be under any legal obligation to do so.

If I were in that position and they refused to let me out of paying for that no matter how much I complained then I would eat the money and chalk it up to a learning experience.

That is: Know what I'm buying before I sign.

But, under no circumstances, would I allow them to put that **** on my car.

Yeah, got clear bra and tint. Man, finally done. Got the Cilajet removed but it was kind of a weird experience. She took my change of heart rather personally.

Hi I'm a new audi owner, I bought an A4 about 3 months back. And the dealer threw in the Cilajet protection in my deal. But now I am in two minds about the whole thing. Can the coating be removed after this long? Will there be any damage to the car?

This is an old thread... but it sounds to me like he was saying he had it removed from his order (contract), not removed from the car. I don't have any experience with this Cilajet stuff...I went the Clear Bra route. Sorry bro...don't know if there will be damage, but from the sound of it; it sure doesn't sound like it would be pretty after a removal try.

When I got my last A4 the woman was pushing hard for me to get a special battery installed under my hood that would charge the paint in such a way that would resist corrosion. Her words. Had never even heard of this before. It was offered to me at a mere $1500. I gave her a very firm NO.

It's ridiculous the things they try to sell you. If these sealants and special protectors were so crucial Audi would have applied them in the first place.
