I noticed some people have a clear bra or Invisible Paint Protection....
What's your feedback on it the subject?
Is it worth it?
Can you see the edges of the bra/paint protection?
What brand did you use? How much was it?

I have the clear bra on my A4 cab. No chips on the front and hood portion where the film is at all. The only thing is I have a couple of small chips right above where the clear film stops (just my luck). Overall I say its worth it. I got the extended film on the hood.

I had Invincashield, which may be out of business, on my TT. I'm pretty sure theirs was the 3M product. It did a good job of protecting the car, though I was told it was possible that the paint underneath would not remain the same as the unprotected paint should it ever be removed. Never had to deal with that as my car was T-boned.
It was pretty much invisible except along the edges due to my incessant polishing of the car. A small, white outline grew along the edges and I just wasn't **** enough to get it all off.

I have X-pel and it works great. I just waxed the car and NO stone chips.
With the Ibis White one can hardly see the bra line. I had this on my mercedes
and now the A5.wood not be without it.

Venture Shield owned by 3M has a lifetime warranty. Xpel maybe limited to 7years. Internet stated that Venture Shield less prone to yellowing. Would recommend complete coverage of hood as edges can be visible with dirt and wax build up.

Went with 3M film on the front and rear bumpers, headlights, mirrors, full front fenders, and door egde strips. Had to go with VentureShield on the hood as I wanted the full hood covered and there wasn't a 3M piece large enough to do it. Washes easily so far, very hard to tell it's even there on the monza silver. Haven't waxed yet, but each manufacturer recommends certain products for waxing their film, so I'll probably stick to that when necessary.
It was pricey...$2K, but hearing how easily some folks had chipped their paint since the new earth-friendly paints started being used, I didn't want to mess around. Planning to keep the car for quite a while.

wish i'd put a clear bra on my car before it got chipped up... but since i'm planning on replacing bumper/hood at some point... i'm not super duper worried... once i replace them though clear bra is a definite.
