Default Comfort Seats

What is the general opinion on this option. Do they feel the same as the standard S5 seat? Does the neck warmer work and cool? I have never been able to find one with this seat to sit in yet.
Thanks in advance

Default Comfort Seats

I recently picked up an S5 Cab with the comfort seats and the neck heater is really nice. It definitely makes a big difference in colder weather. The heated/ventilated seats are also really nice. Its harder to notice the cooling feature versus the heat, but it still works pretty well.

first of all, the bolsters on the comfort seat bottom are shallower so you don't feel this ridge digging in your thighs as you get out. I don't think the seats are similiar at all in feel. The comfort seats may actually feel a little harder since they aren't the "silk" leather. The ventilation is not actually cooled. It just takes the ambient air and pulls it through the seat. You won't feel it on a hot day with the top down. I was thinking that they were cooled when I bought the car and found out otherwise. The ventilation works nicely when the car is closed up and the A/C is on. It will keep you from getting sweaty. I love the neckwarmers. They work great. Those and the windblocker allow me to drive in 40some degree weather comfortably. The only thing that felt cold to me were my hands.

It would be good to sit in both seats if you are prone to any aches and pains. Do a search on a car shopping sight and see who has what in a certain radius. It may be worth a roadtrip to feel the seats.

My wife and I both really like the comfort seats. Here in MN the neck warmers have been great for our early spring drives. They really put out the heat, but it is the right amount when mixed with the airflow (but kind of hot when you stop for a moment)

I also feel that I "fit" better in these seats. (I am 6ft and 190 lbs. Not huge, but a lot of sport seats seem quite narrow.) But you should really try them out yourself if you can.

I tried every seat that is available in the A5 and S5 before buying my car, and the comfort seats were my favorites by far. It's very personal, I agree you really need to try as many as you can, but it was really no contest for me. The ventilation is a joke, and makes me mad every time I try to use it, but other than that, they're great.
