I'm sure this question has been asked many times before, so I apoligize in advance. Last weekend my wife came home and got out of the S5 and left the engine running. I got in and drove off. A half a mile later I realized I didn't have a key with me, so promptly turned around, came home and got mine. The question is, how far would I have gotten without a key in the vehicle. I know if I stopped, it would never start again, but could I have just kept going?

pretty sure you can drive it until you turn it off without the key
