I'm going throught he same thing at a Mercedes dealer right now. They ahve a C300 4matic demo, salesman drove it for 5 months, has 10000 km on it, and they said they would take $2000 off the $49000 MSRP. Plus they would still expect me to pay freight and dealer prp. But I was nice, I didn't laugh at him. So this is almost if not actually a used car, is it not? How much should they take off a car with this usage?

You basically, have to tell them, they are crazy, this is what I have to spend, that's what my friend told BMW, we called like 5 dealerships, and said this is what we can spend, we are looking for a demo, can you make this deal happen or not, and we'd come up pick up the car that day. One gave us the run around, and then tried to sell her a 5 series, used, all this other stuff. One really good dealer called up, and said, we have this en, at first she walked away, but when other dealership started trying to sell used 5 series all this other stuff, was like we'd get back to you, went to the other dealership, they wanted $7K down, for everything and walk aout the door. Walked out the door with the car! Boom end of story, they came down almost 10K off the price to make the deal happen, truth is go to a dealer that wants to sell a car, not someone who feels they are doing you a favor, she got the car she wanted X6 and at a really great price at that!!!!
