Deals - or lack thereof

So with the new prices finally out, what deals, if any, should I go after?
For example, everyone is still paying MSRP, I'm assuming, right? I had two dealers offer $1,000 off MSRP, but I don't know what other little "extras" like document fees are in their price.
What extras are you getting? AudiCare?
Is destination of $825 negotiable at this point?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm willing to travel to get the car so I'm also willing to travel to get a deal..... if one exists. LOL

LOL That is what I figured. But I have yet to see his detailed cost estimate so I figure the grand is back in there somewhere.
Not everyone is as much of a straight shooter as you are!

and the dealer fully honored the deal at delivery. i thoroughtly scanned all the charges at delivery and found nothing "unstandard" about them. Needless to mention, I am very happy with the deal, the dealer (incl. my sales guy) and, most importantly, THE CAR

Would you mind telling me from which dealer your purchased your car and who your salesperson was? Personal experience is the best advertising!

The sales manager (Mike) was great too... also, there is another Brand Specialist, Bill Carpenter, out there. Didnt do the deal with him, but heard good things!

I'm also in the Chgo area. What was the time-line from order to allocation to build to delivery?

I love the S5 and A5 coupe but not willing to overpay for a car.
Just be patient as prices will drop as Audi increases production. It happens with every hot new marque that comes out. Stealers jack up prices because of demand and the suckers who "gotta have it" mentality overpay and then prices drop. Of course with the US dollar going into the toilet, all Euro cars are way expensive now compared to couple years ago.
As much as I dig the Audi and BMW, I may go Japanese for my next car if I cannot land a good deal. Yes the Infiniti G37 coupe is not quite as exclusive or badass as the Audi S5 or BMW M3 but thousands less.
