What do does your dealership qualify as an "oddball" order?

I've visited 5 Audi dealers in Bay area.
Here are the initial responses without hassling.
Dealer A: $500 over the invoice, $1000 deposit
Dealer B: MSRP, $1000 deposit
Dealer C: $500 over the invoice, $1000 deposit
Dealer D: 2% over the invoice, $1000 deposit
Dealer E: the invoice, $5000 deposit

Hopefully it helps
How do you know what the invoice is for MY2010 when the cars are still on the boat?

$1K deposit, no ordering, it took 4 weeks to find the car, 8% off invoice.

In most states the same doc fee has to be charged to every customer if the dealership charges one. That said you can always have the dealer knock the amount of the doc fee off the sale price of the car (in effect getting them to waive it).

Oddball is something we wouldn't order for stock or a "special individual" color like Sprint Blue or an Audi exclusive paint job. Like a drive select car would be an oddball or a stripped model A5 or S5. If it's something we'd order a grand or 1500 will do, fully refundable deposit. An oddball, a larger sum, and it's a partial payment.

same boat as OP. I only have 46k to spend. Total, out the door, wham bam thank you ma'am. Looking at the Canadian Pricing sheet, do you think I'll be able to afford a MY2010 2.0TFSI ?
