I currently own an Evo X GSR. Looking to get out of it and into a 2010 A5 2.0T Prestige, S-line.

So, yeah, the A5 will be down on power in comparison. But, a chip and exhaust will bring the A5 close enough.

Have you driven any cars with the chip and exhaust mods?

You are better off keeping the EVO as it is. If you chip the Audi chances are that if you get a problem in the future, your won't have warranty on your A5, dealer will say it has to do with your tuning and so on...

I haven't driven the A5 2.0T with a chip/exhaust.

But, I did have a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T S-line 6MT Quattro. Had an APR chip and exhaust on it. That car weighed just about the same as the A5 2.0T does, so I imagine the performance on the A5 would be slightly better because the 2.0T in the A5 is a slightly better engine and gets a little more hp/tq out of a chip.

So, for me, that will be enough performance. I know it won't match the Evo, but I'm OK with that

I'm OK with that. Like I just mentioned in my reply to the other guy, I had an Audi before with a chip.

Plus, I've modded every car I've owned. Even the Evo X has some light mods on it. I know it's a "pay to play" proposition...and I'm OK with that.
