ANOTHER Typo????
Here is the 2008 MY Order Guide from AoA. If S-Tronic is not available on the 2009 A5/S5, then somehow they have made the exact same mistake!

That is exactly right, rferni
The transverse S Tronic has six forward gears with one reverse gear while the longitudinal S Tronic has seven forward gears with one reverse gear.
You, I and most of us on AudiWorld in general get this. However, a few people here on AW are still simply clueless about this.
