Drove the A5 six-speed with DriveSelect. Verdict: frustrated with Audi for not releasing this sooner

This is exactly what I had hoped to hear ......3 cars in one.
One fun sporty car for when I am alone (Dynamic), a slower and "Comfy" car when my wife is in the car (she always complains that I should turn it down a notch) and the Automatic mode when something else is on my mind. Can't wait to have the A5 with this feature and the drop dead gorgeous looks.

Think about ADS combined with torque vectoring
The combination of the various technologies-dampers, steering, and torque distribution-should be a revelation to the tradition Audi enthusiast, and perhaps, the jaded driver of brand X...

I would not give it a thought
there will always be something new around the corner - the car is a dream ride wise as is, I would not change a thing, well maybe I would have gotten the b&o but there were no prices when I ordered last july. you will love the car, without question

2nd.
If you've already ordered the car, don't regret it. It's a great car with or without the ADS. I nit-pick about the steering and stuff sometimes because I'm unfairly comparing it to my M3. The M3 is my benchmark just because it's a car I happen to drive. But it's a car that can't offer half the luxury, features or exclusivity. And realistically the S5 feels good. Especially in the context of a 335/CLK 550 fighter.
When you get your car you won't even be thinking about Drive select. You'll just want to drive.

Maybe. When Audi launched the car the tagline was "Sporty, Progressive, Sophisticated"
I'm not doubting your word though. Sometimes what defines these categories of cars today can be somewhat confusing. I'm sure some see it as a GT and some as a sports car.
Most magazines that reviewed started by calling it "Audi's new sports car" and ended with "is more of a grand tourer" or something.
