Just got back from driving the beast of a machine.
when i first pulled up i was stopped in my tracks due to the fact that the car is just plain mean.
it sits low, with an incredibly wide stance compromised with the menacing grill that looks like it might eat you.
anyway, the car was meteor gray with magma red and carbon atlas interior.
I fell in love with the interior as soon as i peerd in through the window.
the pictures dont do it justice.
it was like a dream interior everything placed so perfectly and just really inviting. When the dealer started the car up it rumbled...loud,low and sounded very grunty.
I got in the drivers seat, dealer in the passenger and the girlfriend in the back seat.
She said suprisingly it was quite comftorable(she is about 5' 8")
We took off.
The clutch has a light and late release, which is much different from my BMW M3.
In first the car got up a little slow but as soon as i shifted into 2nd it was pulling.....and pulling hard.
Suprisingly, however, the car was extremely smooth and the road noise was no where to be found behind the grumble coming from the quad exhaust.
I drove the car around about 10 mintues taking some sharp turns at about 60.
let me tell you, it pulls around those corners and was screaming for me.
The new quattor set-up was very aparent as the car felt balanced as it hugged an expressway on-ramp going about 65.
The dealer hadn't even been inside the car yet and he was extremely impressed.
The car definately does not seem as Raw as my M3 but more of a sophisticated monster with something that is ready to unleash at any moment.
As we headed back to the dealer i was imagine myself driving my own in 3-4 months and how much i would love this car.
it truely is an amazing vehicle.
The car was US Spec and had the following:
TECH PACKAGE WITH PUSH BUTTON START(NO KEY NEEDED IN IGNITION)
NAV- WITH MMI CONTROLS BY SHIFT BOOT AND VOICE CONTROL
TILT ONLY SUNROOF
BANG AND OLUFSEN- SOUND THAT RIVALS ANY CURRENT AUDIO SETUP
ELECTRONIC PARKING BREAK
NO HILL HOLD OR SIDE ASSIST
let me know if im forgetting anything else.

Also, any idea if it had cruise control? When someone said it didn't have adaptive cruise control I figured "no biggie", but when I looked closer at a controls guide I don't see any cruise button period.
What were your thoughts on the sunroof shade? i.e. fairly strong material or pretty flimsy?

the red looked stunning in person.
Not my cup of tea, but definately looks amazing.
I completely forgot to ask about the adaptive cruise. the two buttons on the front of the steering wheel allow you to adjust volume, track and you can even scroll through the serious channels which show up right in the heads up display in the dash.
the sunroof wasn't panoramic like i heard it was. it was a pretty standard size.
seemed like it was built well i did infact use the controls to tilt it open. it doesnt exactly open wide at all though did seem pretty solid.
