I was thinking about installing an Escort Qi45 myself, and was wondering if any of you might have a suggestion for an easy path through the firewall. On idea I had seen is thru the rubber insert they put in the clutch location (for those of us with an automatic). I draw the line at drilling holes--I'm not THAT obsessed with having a radar detector. But this car is so quiet at speed I am overdoing it a little . . .

Thanks, Imola! Just one last question--after passing thru the rubber insert where the clutch pedal would have been, where did you route the wire to enter the main engine compartment? Thanks again!
