For some reason, no matter what I try, the NAV system will not go to the current position of my car. It calculates the route, displays the Arrow to go straight, but never gives and commands after that. In the map view, it for some reason thinks I am in Alabama (even though I am in Texas). Called the dealer, never heard of that issue. Anyone had a problem like this? Thanks!

Just take it in for service, shouldn't take too long.

Could it be a calibration issue? Try driving the car for another 100 miles or so with the nav on (not using the nav for directions, just have the nav screen on).

the 'arrow' in my nav was 2-5 miles off. sometimes it would show that i'd be driving in a river... and after that, my nav just stopped working. it couldnt read the dvd. the dealership said its a faulty nav unit and they have to replace the entire unit. its been a month and still no nav unit.

Sounds like it is in Demo mode...need to go into MMI and change it to "normal Mode"

It is in demo mode. Same thing happened to me when I picked up my S5 two weeks ago. You don't need to take it in.

It is not in demo mode. I took it in today and they looked at it for 4-5 hours and they said it is a bad antennae and cannot sync with the satellite. A new one is now on order from Germany. Should be here in a week. Demo mode is the first thing I checked, and then they first thing they checked. Hopefully this is my 1 and only issue on the car! Thanks for the advice!
