It would make this already great forum a whole lot more informative if everyone could, when putting in comments about an order, state WHAT they ordered (tip or 6spd, ext color, options, etc) and WHERE they ordered from (at least country, but better buy region/state, etc.) Also, whether A5/S5, whether you have or do not have a commission number, and your build week, if available.

I know this waiting isn't easy (personally, it's killing me) but it only adds to the frustration to read about who else is waiting and not be able to ascertain whether this info is relevant to your own situation.

What is the relationship of a commission number, to dealer allocation, to actually being scheduled for production (getting a build date)?? I have an S5 that I ordered in person early Jan. (Los Angeles) and the internet sales guy who I worked with was kind enough to give me a commission number order printout for an order placed in late Oct. (I did put down a hefty deposit.)
