grabbed '13 S5 Prestige on dealer lot today
Traded our '09 Porsche for the '13 S5. The S5 is insanely fast, luxurious, comfortable, well-appointed, and sure-footed. The more I drive it, the more I enjoy the exhaust and engine notes..they are very pleasurable and I've kept it in sport mode mostly with the S-tronic (dsg) 7 speed so it burbles a lot. It burbles on every up and downshift if you want it to 
It is probably the nicest, most well rounded car I've ever driven. An absolute pleasure.

Congratulations! I am a bit surprised you don't miss your Porsche though-- the S5 and the Porsche (I assume it isn't the Cayenne SUV) drive totally different.
I had every intention of selling my 1987 944 turbo after I bought my S5, but I couldn't. I love them both.

thanks guys, the S5 just feels like a Porsche with good manners to me, I dunno
I used to drive an A5..and this S5 is really a different animal. It's a great blend.

You will adore yours. Truly. I almost ordered one also, but decided I would wait and see if it was really as good as I hoped. Well it just happened the dealer got in a car I would have ordered myself..I'm pretty amazed. I test drove it the day it came in before it went on their website, then traded my beloved Carrera 4S cabrio for this S5. It's just better. Whew, it really is.
