+1 for the sport springs. Ride quality is sacrificed a little but the stance is much more aggressive than the OE. I had the OE at first but instead switched to the Sport because I couldn't stand looking at the wheel gap after getting 20's. I'm just picky like that.

How bad was the gap. I'm getting 20's and have ordered the OE sport. What tire size did you use?

275/30/20 all around. My advice is get the OE first... if you like the look keep it, if you want it lower get the Sport. The general consensus seems to think the OE sport is the better choice here.

I have plenty of scraps on the front, but the good news is you can't see them unless you get under the car. My fear is some valet or anyone else driving my car pulls up too close to a curb. Not that I let lots of peeps drive it...I always say something and if I get that blank stare I come up with a new plan. I think it would do some significant damage with the Sport...I guess 1/4" will not make that much of a difference even with the OE springs.

Well - DGS4 sent me his old Sport springs and I got them installed this weekend. Took it to the track on Saturday as well.
First off - personally, I LOVE the new ride. It soaks up smaller bumps much better than the stock springs. Bigger bumps, potholes, etc. you do feel the stiffer rate come into play, but because the rate is progressive it is not a jarring hit. Also keep in mind, stiffer springs work better at higher speeds, and I do drive 10 or 15 over the speed limit pretty much everywhere I go...
On the track - what a difference! improved turn-in, very little body roll at the limit of traction, overall a vast improvement from stock...
Thanks DGS4 - one man's trash is another's treasure !

Function before form - but yes, it does look a bit meaner. I figured there were enough pics on here of lowered S5's - don't need more of mine. The last couple of clips in the video really illustrate the lack of body roll, though...
