I'm looking at buying a 2008 A5 with the standard/base audio system, which for my ears will not cut it. I love good audio in my car and have done aftermarket set-ups in my last two cars. However, I'd prefer to keep the stock in-dash unit and hook-up the JL Audio Clean Sweep which would slot between the head unit and the aftermarket amps.

Would love to hear any success or failure stories using the Clean Sweep. Also, does anyone know the mounting depth of the 6.5 door speakers?
