Dealer told me yesterday the residual value would be 61% and at an interest rate of 7.95% for 24 months and 12k miles for my 2009 A5.

Default So how do people who already have their 2009 A5/S5 at the dealer setup a lease..

if the money factor rates and residuals are not being released till Aug 8th?

Default They can't...........

Unless you are paying cash or financing, you will wait until a bank, AFS or otherwise issues a leasing program.

ouch! AFS isn't very competetive at the moment. I went with USBank for my S5 lease (Feb '08).

Default Does a car you ordered sit at the dealer till the leasing program is released or

does the dealership just sell a hot item car to someone else who has cash or financing ready today?

Actually just heard back from the dealer and now he said the lease has improved a little. The residual value is now 64% (with S Line) and the money factor interest rate is 6.9%.

Default Normally the car is yours until you cancel............

Your deposit should hold the car for the week or two it sits there until a lease program arrives.
