THREAD BUMP.

As far as we know, do all model years of A5 "wink"? I'm not sure I've ever seen a recent Audi that doesn't, buy my MY2010 A5 does not. I bought it last winter as a CPO car, and since I've had it I've seen one or two things that suggest to me the prior owner used VAG-COM to tweak it. For example, in addition to lacking the wink, my car has the Lap display enabled in the trip computer.

It is expected that my 2010 wouldn't wink, or has my car been tinkered with before?

Yes, someone did a few VAG-com mods to your car before you purchased it.

I just simply brought the code to the dealer and asked them to mod it for me. Done deal.

How much did they charge you for the service?

They didn't. Since it was "under the table" and they couldn't document their work they didn't charge me. I sent the guy in the shop a $50.00 gift card. Took him about 20 minutes. =)

Can you provide the very code to stop the winking? I'm interested in approaching my dealer and have the shop guy do just the same.
