Default How do you organize mp3's when importing from the SD card?

I want to bring some music to my 2010 A5 jukebox with the 3G MMI.

I have an 8Gb Kingston SDHC card.

Can I just drag the whole iTunes music folder into the card- it currently is organized by iTunes on my Mac in folders and subfolders like:

<iTunes Music FOLDER>
<ARTIST SUBFOLDER>
<ALBUM SUB-SUBFOLDER>
songtitle.mp3

None of the music is DRM-protected.

Then do I just put the SDHC card in the slot and import all the music into the jukebox?
Or is there some special way I need to do my folders - or maybe no folders.

Then will the 3G MMI let me sort by artist or by song or by album?

Thanks!

Unless they changed something for 2010, the SDHC card won't work. You need an straight SD card

if he has the 3G MMI the sdhc cards should work

from what ive read you can use AAC file but not a DRM m4p.

Can't comment on 3G (I have an '08 w/ 2G), but my MMI shows you the complete folder structure off an external hard drive connected via USB (AMI).

The only problem I ran into is I've got about 8,000 songs divided into folders by artist, and MMI took a long time to read the folder list. Solution - I made a higher level of folders A-Z, and the MMI doesn't have any lag now.

I presume the 3G jukebox sorts all the music by tags and is searchable by artist/title/album, in which case folder order isn't important. But I don't trust the tag listings on my songs, so I prefer to navigate by folder structure.

I use an SDHC card for my 2010 S5 and it works perfectly.
