Default How will they price it?

Will it be priced as the 3 series coupe? (35-45k) loaded or more like the CLK coupe (45-55k).

At 38-46k base and under 48k loaded it will be a hit, if base is north of 46k and loaded, north of 50k not too sure.

And remember, no more free service visits.

i think more like 45k-50k loaded, but depends on what engines they will put in it.

If it's in the 40-45K range I may consider it.

Default I keep saying they they will price it too high, and it will be a slow seller.

AoA's stupidity is enormous when it comes to pricing and configurations, so I would not be 100% surprised if they only import slushbox V6s and V8s, and price it waaaaay over the 3 series coupe.

Here is how they SHOULD price it:
A5 3.2q: base around $35K, nicely equipped for $38K.
A5 4.2q: base around $39K, nicely equipped for $44K.

Default Doubtful. A loaded A4 2.0T is $42k+.

Lets look at this from a model lineup perspective.

Loaded A4 3.2 Currently around $48k
Loaded A6 3.2 Currently around $58k
So a loaded A5 3.2 should be around $53k

Loaded S4 Currently around $52k
Loaded A6 4.2 Currently around $62k
Loaded A5 4.2 should be around $57k
Loaded S6 Currently around $76k
Loaded S5 should be around $64k

Default It will be overpriced IMO

The A5 is a 5-series class vehicle (from what I've read). It will be priced accordingly.

So the A5 will offer BMW 328 performance at 5-series pricing.

Default Not sure - it depends on which engine is used in the model

If it is the 3.2 FSI, then it will cost you about the same price as 335i; if it is the 4.2 FSI, then it is going to cost you about the same as 550i.

Between E92 and CLK makes the most sense.

This in conjunction with Audi's stance that they will be increasing prices, makes me wonder...
