Well maybe my car is strange, but I leave the system on in Auto, with A/C selected (compressor won't actually come on if it is very cold) and the temp set at 65F, year round, and can turn the "bun warmers" on and off at will, with no change to the system.

My drive to work is 3.3 miles one way, and have heat in the seats by the first mile, and the car is warm not long after that, no matter how cold it is outside.

Sorry you guys are having issues. Cold seats are no fun.

I’d love a shorter commute than what I currently have (45 mins) but I’d work out a route that would allow my *** to get warmed up before getting to the office! As I paid for the butt warmers, I'm going to used them!!

I saw a C Coupe today. It looked nice, but really just looks like the sedan with two doors.

Performance wise, C350 is very similar to the A5 (6.0 vs. 6.2 seconds 0-60). The S5 is around 5.0 seconds.
I thought it looked the same until I saw one in person. My neighbor came home with a black one and I have to admit that it did have a sleeker (maybe even wider and lower) look than the sedan. It's a good looking car, but not as good looking as the A5. I'd put it a little ahead of the 3-series coupe though in the looks department. Actually, that's a good example right there. You know how a 3-series coupe has a sleeker look than the 3-series sedan? Well, the new C-class coupe has that same sleeker look over it's sedan counterpart.

I am looking at both the A5 and C350 Coupe.
Has anybody driven them both back to back? (I havn't had time yet but hope to do so ASAP)
I think the C350 is roomier inside, more leg room for sure. (I am tall)
I am also not convinced about the Turbo 4 Cylinder, Turbo Lag?

My neighbor just got a C350 coupe. Leg room seems about the same to me. As for the A5 turbo, there is no lag whatsoever. You get maximum torque at just 1500 rpm. Go test drive one and see for yourself.

Rented a one in the Bay area for a week and was pretty much unexpressed. But hey, the heart wants what the heart wants.
