Default not initially - they're all going to be manuals! that's why MB doesn't even bother

with a manual in the CLK... those kinds of buyers want automatics.

Default I'm 53, married and getting an S5 as my personal daily driver. One reason I am selling the A3 and

getting an S5 is because I miss the manual even though the A3 DSG is the best automatic I've ever driven.

For the very first time in my life I'll have a "personal" car!

I had them both, and I had to get rid of one. They were the two extremes, and I couldn't have a 2 seater (basically) as my only car. The TT was one of my favorite cars I have ever owned....thats why i want another audi. S5!

Default Not jealous at all. I'm already convincing my wife as she now appreciates an Audi...

after living through the shock when I drove the B5 S4 home and almost divorced me. Only realizing month's later it was a great choice and today still congratulates me on the "*****-move" decision I made since, now at 80k, the car has never been in the shop except for brakes and timing belt.

Going to cash in my 99,000 Audi points and apply it to the S5.

Default For anybody tracking this thread... I asked de Nysschen this weekend

It will be part of my article coming out soon. It was a funny situation - hard to relate in the forums for sure.

A5 Demographic? Anyone who wants a car that looks faster than it actually is.

S5 Demographic? Anyone who wants performance and is willing to pay a premium for it (read no bang-for-the-buck) at the dealership and at the gas pump.
