I recently picked up a 2009 S5 Coupe with the MMI system. I managed to sync my phone with no issue at all. I've successfully placed and received a call through the Audi's audio system.

Unfortunately, the MMI does not see any of my contacts. I have a T-Mobile G2, which has Android Froyo on it. No matte what I do, the MMI will not import any contacts from my phone. I saw suggestions to drive around and wait. I gave it about 45 minutes and still nothing. Oddly enough, it did import my call history, because it shows numbers I've dialed in my phone days ago, but have never dialed in my S5.

I tried exporting the contacts via bluetooth from my phone, but no luck. I downloaded an Android app that is also designed to do this, again with no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

your phone may have a setting to "allow phonebook transfer". when you connect your phone, drag your finger down from the top of the phone screen, it should reveal a drop down menu that shows something like "allow phone book transfer always"

I gave your suggestion a shot after work yesterday, but saw no option for "allow phonebook transfer". Any other suggestions?
