Has anybody had a problem with dropped calls? It seems that every time I get back in the car the first call is always dropped. After that everything seems to be fine, this isn't just from one person, this happens somewhat frequently. Anybody?

I've been using an iPhone 3GS with my 2010 A5 for over a month, and I haven't had any problems at all.

Where do you live? AT&T has been having network issues in some areas due to the high bandwidth demands from the increasing numbers of smart-phones in use. A lot of people are getting pretty fed up by the dropped calls. They are, apparently, working on it with all due haste.

That said my iPhone works fine here in Tampa/St. Pete., including when it's connected to my MMI.

at&t is god awful in north berkeley. it has gotten to the point where it is ridiculous. no better/worse in the car...

AT&T has been terrible for me with my iPhone in the bay area since I moved here in March. You'd think that being near the Apple headquarters, they'd have good coverage/reliability around here, but it truly sucks.

I don't typically have dropped calls, maybe in one spot. The service is fine just seems that the first incoming call every time I get back in the car drops. Weird. In the past it could have been blamed on needing an MMI upgrade. Maybe I need to upgrade to a 3GS. Thanks for the input.

On a slightly different note, did Audi give anyone an iPod cable for their iPhone?
Did it happen to be the correct one? The ones they had been giving didn't work with iPhone 3G or 3GS.

I have one that works with my 3GS - it took them 2 tries to get the right cable (or a cable that worked). Either way, it works perfectly.
