jack points for A5

I have just purchased a '08 A5 and I can't seem to locate any place to set my jack stands under the car... I have a great floor jack, but unlike all my other Audi's, this A5 doesn't seem to have any place to put the stand once the car has been lifted using the lift point on the sill...
Anyone have an answer to this?

mine was lifted in the shop, with an hydraulic garage lifter that has arms, swinging under the car.
the lifting points were placed right after the front wheels and just before the rear wheels, almost on the outside of the car, i.e. under the door-sills.
I hope you get what I'm saying.

I'm sorry, I don't think I was clear in my question...
I know that you can lift the car from the sill near each wheel well, as is clearly shown and stated in the owner's manual, but after you have lifted the car using a floor jack at that point, you should then set the car down on a jack stand so as to move the floor jack to the next lift position...
Also, getting under a car without a jack stand is not recommended...
So, my question is, where do I place the stand?

I've asked this same question another forum and got zero responses unfortunately. It's quite baffling to be honest... and I'd rather not risk my life going under my car without knowing 100% where to put the jack stands. This is a tough one, and no it is not in the owner's manual. For now no one seems to know. weird

OK, I queried the official website and the technical response team issued the following statement which I have paraphrased for expedience sake:
Ask your service advisor...
That's it... ask your service advisor... which I did... Actually I asked the mechanic changing my oil, and he scratched his head, looked around under the car and replied that he didn't see any place to put a jack stand other than the lift point which of course can't be used, since the floor jack would be occupying that spot...
Anyway, I have done some experimenting of my own and I have found a solution...
If you have a small floor jack like the portable type that comes in a case ( I have a very old one which was my first car jack over 30 years ago), you can place the saddle at the most extreme part of the lift point and still have room for the stand right next to it... This will allow you to lift and then set the car on the stand using the lift point for both the floor jack and the stand... It works for me, and if I lift the car high enough using the front lift point, I can even put a stand at the rear lift point since it is raised as well...
Hope this helps...
