I am in Columbus Ohio and I finally got production allocation for an S5 and submitted my order last week with expected delivery in December. I went with phantom Black paint with Black Leather interior. the only thing i am unsure of is whether to go with the stainless steel interior accents or carbon fiber. I am leaning toward carbon but have seen other carbon fiber interiors (not Audi) taht were not done well and the fiber looks fake or cheap. I can't find any good pictures of the carbon interior - does anyone have any advice on what looks better?
for those of you interested in the details - i started talking to dealers about 6 weeks ago - got my allocation last week and agreed to pay straight MSRP which i think is a pretty good deal as two of the three dealers i was working with wanted 2500 and 3000 over MSRP. I had to put down a 2000 deposit.

The fit and finish of the Audi interior, in my opinion, is second to none. I don't care what price range you compare it to. I don't have an S5, but I did have an 06' S4 with the carbon and it was top tier quality. It is real carbon fiber and it is very solid and fits very well and tight.
The above pic is the best I have, it really doesn't show the fit and finish too well though.. It looks great with the trim around the dash area as well. I wold highly recommend it over any other trim.

I don't think the carbon contrasts enough with the black interior and makes it appear a bit drab....

Not sure if center console in S5 is aluminum or piano black if you opt for aluminum trim.<ul><li><a href="http://gallery.audiworld.com/gallery/awframes/index2008a5s5test.html">Aluminum - S-Line A5</a></li></ul>
