Default Key Fob Battery
Does anybody know how pull the battery out of the keyfob and where can I get one for a S5.

Do you have the advanced key? If so, remove the silver mechanical key (little push bottom on the back releases it). Slide it out, then on the inside front, there is a push button latch that allows you to slide out the battery carrier. Its a standard CR2032 battery.

You should be able to charge the battery for the fob when you insert the key into the ingnition..
Thats how mine worked.

The battery for the fob is a standard watch-type battery (CR2032 I believe), so it is not rechargeable.

After I remove the metal key and push down on the front of the fob it still won't release. Yes it's the advanced key

Got it out it looks like a standard watch battery CR2032 thanks for the help.

Just as a general note, the manual does show how one removes the battery.
