Sadly, these are illegal in Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC....maybe other states I'm not aware of.

If a cop sees a car like an S5/A5 coming down the street, ---at 115mph--- chances are damn good he's going to notice the extreme rate of speed, even without the laser. Then, if he notices that he's not getting a reading from his gun because it's "jammed", he's gonna track you down and check out the car.
Who knows what will happen from there.
Biggest waste of money, in my mind.

Laser guns don't typically malfunction. And when they don't get a reading, they'll probably know something's up.
Then hope you don't get tagged for obstruction.

Sure they can pull you over but it will be a false charge and can and will get thrown out in court if there is no statutory law banning jammers in that state. The laser jammer did not obstruct the police officer from pulling you over...he/she could pull you over whether or not they receive a reading from their laser gun.

They don't ban cars on roads that can go faster than the speed limit either, but you can still get a ticket for using a legal "vehicle" in an illegal fashion.
That's not quite how it works. Obstruction, and illegality of a jammer are two separate issues.
Obstruction does not necessarily mean you "succeeded" in keeping him from pulling you over. "Attempting" to do so qualifies for obstruction.
Depending on the circumstance, they could have resonable suspicion that something is up- more than enough to want to give you a look-see.
Give it a shot- let us know how you fare.
