I would steer away from the base car. I have one and its worth moving up. Besides, I am sure that you could bargain with them over comprehensive coverage like service plans and wheel protection on the pre-owned car.

I just took delivery of a new 2010 A5 3.2 Prestige. ibis white with Cinnamon brown Milano leather. I got $6,000 off of sticker. I couldn't be happier. The 3.2 is plenty fast enough. I find myself putting it in Sport mode when I am at a light and then going into drive at 30 or 40 mph. I am on thE highway a lot and routinely average 30 mpg. The 2010 MMI is well worth it.
I mean, that's why we're all here.
