Default License Plate Light Change

Has someone changed the License Plate Light to an LED? I've read the posts about changing to LEDS but I don't understand using the "wedge" to remove the light assemblies. Do you just push straight in to release a catch or what? Can someone do a little further explaining? Thanks

facing the car, you will use a wedge on the right side of each light assembly. Apply firm, steady pressure under the lip of the light assembly and it will release the clip.

See this thread from Audizine for a full description of how to do it.

Default LED License Plate Bulbs - FYI

Before purchasing my LEDs, I read numerous posts about the LEDs and the ones I ordered were from Tunerdomes. But, I emailed them about the "bulb out" concerns BEFORE ordering. I was told that they had experienced the problem with some of the LEDs and that his supplier was aware of the problem. The order he just recieved was to have some change to the LED that would assure that there would NOT be a "bulb out" problem.....He was right the LEDs are fine. I highly reccommend you purchase the LEDs from Tunerdomes as they are aware the previous problems with the bulbs and the "bulb out" warning associated with the A5/S5. The ordering is easy as there is a breakdown by make and model.
