Losing air in tires

I have been driving my '09 S5 for about three months. Seems that I can not keep the tires properly inflated - 39 in the front and 36 in the rear per the door placard. I check it every week and find that the fronts are down at least 4 pounds and the rear a couple. I am testing when tires are cold for consistency. Is this an issue common to 19" wheels or low profie tires? Or maybe it is just the crappy roads I drive on in Maine. Anyone else?

If he has separate mounted snows, put them on the car, then take the summer set to a brand name tire store, & have them submerge each wheel in a test tank. A definite PIA...but may be the quickest & best solution.

if you look in your manual, you will find that there is a tire pressure recommendation for lighter loads (one to two people). The door placard has a fully loaded rating. You can lower your pressures for a better ride. I know that this wasn't your issue but I found my car to ride better and go straighter with less pressure.
