Default lowered the car this weekend

Went with the mild h&r springs. Very happy with it, preserves the ride and puts the stance right where I wanted it. Did the install myself, will do a write up shortly.

Looks great. Are those H&R OE springs? Can you tell how much it dropped?

yes, they are the h&r oe's. They are supposed to drop an inch. They pretty much get rid of the wheel gap without tucking the stock tires.

Get spacers.

I got my OE springs installed last week, along with DRA 25/20 mm spacers for back and front. It'll complete the look trust me.

Makes me wonder why they couldn't just make it like this from the factory.

Since 2004, the Euro pedestrian crash standard has ruined most sport packages. It all started there. Another issue is tire sizes keep growing. The bigger the tires gets, the higher the car stands off the gound, effectively erasing the lowered look. That was one thing I liked most about my 2003 A4 sport pack was it's low to the ground look.

the ride quality is preserved, one of my goals.

As for spacers, I need to decide on my wheel and tire package before I make any moves regarding spacer.

RS4 - looks great! Would really appreciate write-up on the spring install. Any special tools other than spring compressor?

Thanks!

Default Any before and after pic's?

I am thinking of doing the same thing. If you have any pictures that are a strait profile shot that would be great :-)

Thanks in advance.
