Magma Red vs. Black interior
Hello forumites -
I currently have a '09 S5 on order in Phantom/Magma Red.
To be honest I've not seen this color combination in person yet (just a Meteor/Magma and a Phantom/Black). Does anyone regret getting the Magma Red interior? Is it too 'flashy'? Will I tire of it?
Think I've made the right decision, but can't feel 100% seeing as I've not actually seen the combination in person.
Your advice/thoughts/recommendations are appreciated!

black is always nice but kind of boring. Magma red is awesome with black or meteor (or pretty much any neutral color). I think phantom with magma is my top choice with deep sea blue with tuscan. i would already have ordered an a5 s-line if either of these were available.

I feel your pain as I had the same reservations. I decided I would tire of red
and ended up going with Phantom Black/ Black.
The red is very nice, but I just think it's just a bit too bright to look at every single day until I get my RS5!!

Meteor Gray / Magman
ordered and waiting for my car.
But the red isn't over done in my opinion.
MOST of the dash and door are black.
If you and one person are seated, you will feel like you're in a black interior with a splash of red on the door.

Tuscan is nice
Give's you the two tone effect of the Magma, but doesn't scream quite as much. You have to see it in person to understand. Ive seen Magma, Black, and Tuscan in person. I prefer the Tuscan best. Black Tuscan Carbon, that's the way I'd go. Which ever you choose you'll be happy with. That's the beauty of the S5

I like Tuscan as well. Seeing it in person at an auto...
...show clinched it for me. First, most S5 owners don't get it, so it is relatively unique; second, it doesn't look anywhere near as basketball-orangy as many pictures seem to suggest.
I am convinced most S5 owners ordered the Magma Red because that is what they saw on most Demo models and the color combo (Meteor-Magma) really does blow one away when one sees it. But it would make my eyes hurt to see that red every morning for years.
