I assume he meant July 2008 for a MY2009. no dealer would know now if you are getting a car a year from now.

Audi did not stop production on S5 in the US but are not shipping anymore 2008. The next allocation will be for 2009 production arriving by July. You still have a chance of getting a 2009 based on when you left your deposit.

False, knowing how crappy Zumbach Audi is, I wouldn't be suprised if the salesman said that just so

he could sell a car on the lot immediately instead of taking a deposit/order. I've seen that happen before, where the salesman dissuaded someone from buying a A4 cabriolet to get an A6 just b/c in actuality they had no inventory of A4 cabs.
