Default MMI Jukebox question

If I have music loaded and want to add more, will the music that's there, stay there or will it be replaced when loading new stuff? I don't want to remove music.

It just takes so long to add songs and don't want to be waiting for everything to reload.

Thanks!

I was looking for an answer to my question.

Is that your first download or did you add more to the existing folder? I guess it's because I was doing the DL in the garage, it seemed so long. I should do it while going somewhere.

If you choose to import from an SD card, it will simply add the songs that aren't on the HDD already. It will not delete the existing songs.

Thanks! That's what I wanted to know. I took the same card, added more music and loaded it. I wasn't sure if I was replacing the old copy with a new copy or it was just taking the new stuff and adding it to what's there. Now I know that I continue adding stuff on the same card.

Is there a USB port in these cars? I have a 2010 S5 and only see SD card slots.

You can buy a USB AMI interface cable that replaces the iPod cable in the glovebox if you need a USB connection (for a portable hard drive or USB memory stick for instance).

Yeah, I figured it was that but was hoping there was a hidden USB port somewhere.

It's in the glove box wall. Can use either the USB or Ipod cable. I actually have a ipod cable for sale. The Pn is 4F0 051 510 K
