Would you say it does not look so blue-ish in person?
Very nice. Congrats.
A bit pissed since my dealer is telling me Monza paint is delayed at the factory for the B8 A4....doesn't seem to be affecting the A5.

Definately not so blue-ish in person!
This car was ordered originally in mid april as an Avus Silver, however in 2 weeks a memo came over that this color is discontinued in favor of a new exclusive S-Line color called Monza Silver. I would say the Monza is stellar! Because of the order time I think there was not a problem building the car in that color. Maybe they've received more A4 orders than the capacity they can paint them in.... at leat thats the word on the 19 inch wheels and S-Line packages for A5, A4 and the 21s S-Line on Q7...
Last but not least. I wish the car was mine, but its not. I work at the dealer and a frined of mine ordered it. He let me post the pictures.
When 2.0T Manual A5 is launched in March 2009 I think that will be up my alley. I know what color to get now!

If you custom ordered it, they will build it
It is no longer available as a color from the regular selection, however under Audi Exclusive you can paint it any color they have or have had in the past as long as they still have a color code for it. $2500 charge for that. The only colors specifically excluded are Lamborghini colors Those they refuse to do for any price

Whew! Thanks. Still think Avus is the hottest color and am paying the $2,500.
Something about some of the pearl effect colors, where they seem to change color under different lighting conditions (from gray, to silver to blue), but always look wet.
Monza seems to be a lighter color than Avus...do you agree?

you will love the Avus -- I ordered it for my 2005 S4
It is an amazing paint that does not photograph as well as other colors. It looks best with with some good wax or acrylic polish like Klasse all in one and glaze. At night time it's simply beautiful.
I almost ordered it again for my S5 but wanted some variety and went with Daytona instead. A custom color is worth the extra $2500 in my opinion.

The other colors I liked the most were...
...Only available on the R8, and were the Jet Blue and Mugello Blue...AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE BLUE ON CARS! Either would have been pretty smoking on an S5.
