Default Moving up the food chain to an '09 S5

Friends, just pulled the trigger on an '09 S5. It is my third Audi in 12 years. First was a '99 A4 1.8T which I drove for 150k miles. In '03 got an '01 S4 in Nogaro which I just retired with 254k miles - original engine. clutch and tranny. Needles to say, I have had good luck with Audi's.
Now that the kids are away, I wanted to get a more personal car. Was torn between a 2.0T A5 or "09 S5. Went back and forth between the two and ultimately discovered that there is little price difference btween the two when comparably equipped. And I just wanted to have the experience of owing the legendary 4.2L V8, despite the gas consumption issue. I have never had a car with such an engine, and the opportunities will diminish in time.
Finally found the right one and bought it today - '09 S5 6 speed in Brilliant Red/black interior with stainless trim. Options are B&O, Drive Select, Nav and Tech Package. It is CPO as well - 22k miles - all for $42k. This was, by far, the best equipped car with the lowest miles for the lowest price. And the red is just so subtle and "invisible" (like "stop and arrest me " Nogaro blue).
For those of you with the Drive Select, can you give me advise on the settings, and your suggestions?
Really loooking forward to the next 200k miles in this car.
Cheers,
David

congrats and enjoy!

you can play with the settings and see what you like best, some people like to set up individual as dynamic on all except steering on auto, for better feedback when pushed towards the limit, others like the heavy dynamic steering even though feedback is less with it imo.
all depends on how you drive, good to have options, just play with it, you'll find a happy medium.

David, welcome to the S5 club. As a former 97 A4 1.8tqm and 01 S4 (Imola) owner and now 08 S5 driver, we've traveled similar paths. Enjoy the rumble.
