I recently purchased a new navigation DVD for My Audi S-line 2009 coupe. I think I followed all the instructions correctly. But for cryin' out loud how hard could it be? It just doesn't eject. My DVD is mounted in the rear side panel, in the trunk.
Has anyone had a problem with this?

According to these, it's a dealer thing (or a vag-com change):

For pre-3G MMI with Navigation Plus, the navigation data is on a DVD and one is included with the car. In order to get updated data, you have to swap out the DVD that is shipped with the car with the new one.
For the new 3G MMI with Navigation Plus, that data is stored on the hard drive. I don't know how navigation data is updated on such systems (maybe loaded from a master DVD or through the AMI port?).

Yes it's true. The old DVD is currently in play and stuck. You can contact NAVTEQ for upgrade for your specific model, from 2008-2009, to the newer 2009-2010 version. The old version can miss newly opened roads and turns. Its about $200. But I can't change the disc.
