my client with a Brilliant Black S-line A5 painted his spokes black, pics inside
Check it out, it actually turned out pretty well I have to say. Although not for me, I like the finished product a lot. Our bodyshop did this in house.

Interesting look, but any idea why on some spokes it's the overlying piece
but on some, it's the underlying piece that's black? It makes it look very odd to me. Or is that just a trick of the camera?

I think it's my bad blackberry pics...
But yeah, on the spokes they're all painted black on the outer and under edges all the way to where they "end."
