Default My first problem with my S5. CEL came on...

CEL came on and I immediately parked the car and emailed someone with a VAG COM cable -- Thanks Boston Driver!

After the scan we found this::

My guess is the fuel pump is on the fritz and will be replaced. I'll keep you all posted when I learn more.

It was a sad sight watching the car being taken away on a flatbed this morning!

Also, when driving the car last night I noticed that when accelerating there was very abrupt changes in the amount of power and how smooth it was. (like the engine wasn't getting enough fuel) I would compare it to the variation in power people have talked about when you go through 2500-3000 rpms but much more noticeable.

http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/P310B/012555</a

Default Happened to me too...

Faulty fuel pressure sensor, dealer replaced it in under an hour and all was well. Happened to me at 12k miles.

Default Just got the call from the dealer, fuel sensor was replaced!

In all, the experience went well, I called Audi Roadside at 8:30--they picked up the car by 10 and the dealer had it finished by 4.

Now i need to somehow get myself to the dealer to pick it up...

Default Dealers usually have a courtesy car that will pick you up

Glad you got the issue resolved so quickly!
