Today when I tried to get in my car I pressed the unlock button and it didn't respond I tried again and again nothing happened so I had 2 use the pullout key to get in my car then when I drove for 30 minutes and got out I tried to lock the car electronically and now it worked
Is this a common problem, why is it happening and what should I do?

Try a new one, they're common ones you can find at any store, or try the other remote and see if the problem replicates..

I was told be the dealer that every so often I should use the key. It charges if you plug it in.
