My new A5 Cab
I just got word that the car is at the port. They are going to pull some strings and hopefully get it here sooner. I hope the weather is kind.
I am so excited. Too bad it's going to sit a lot. I won't drive it in the snow or if the roads are salty.

Hmm, really? As of last week my A5 coupe was on the boat - it sounds like our cars were probably on the same shipment. Also, mine's headed to SE Michigan, so perhaps they were neighbors on the way over ;p
Keep me posted. I try not to bother my dealer for status updates too much. haha

My car was built the week of Nov. 16th. How about yours? It's promised for next week but they say they have clout and may have it sent faster. I hope so. I started this process around 9/20.

Yeah, it looks like our cars have been on the exact same schedule.
I just got the call today that the car had already arrived at the port and, at the current time, was waiting to be loaded onto the transport truck. According to the dealer, I could have the car as soon as Friday - so the same probably goes for your cab

that would be awesome but our weather will be rather crummy and I'd rather not drive it in the slop. I guess I can sit in the garage with it and play with all the toys! Picking it up Tuesday would be perfect so I have time to learn how to use the buttons. I could also bring it back to where I work and apply paint sealant and treat the carpets. Also, I'll have two cars. My brother could bring me closer to the dealership and I can be picked up.
