Default Need Help - Gray Birch Inlay

According to the Audi web-site, this wood inlay is very "yellow" in color.

However, according to the brochure, and my dealer, it is MUCH more brown in color. This would be fine, the "yellowish" would not be.

Does anyone have this color inlay in their car?

Can anyone tell me how this looks with the Tuscan Brown interior?

Thanks - rather urgent as order was just placed.

Get the Carbon in the S5, much more sportier.

Thanks. That's my fallback - wife wants wood if possible.

There is an interior shot of the Tuscan seats with wood (not sure if it is the birch you are looking for) in this ad http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2010-...item335ec62535

The wood insert that looks yellow is the ash, not the birch

I believe I had the Gray Birch in my 2000 S4 - it looked good against a black interior, however I don't think it would look right against the Tuscan Brown...IMO, I would stick with the dark wood as shown in my previous post, or go Carbon!

The S5 only has one wood, the Gray Birch. So, that picture you sent HAS to be the Gray Birch - which I think looks pretty good. Don't you think?

The Carbon would be nice too though. Tough call.

ahhh ok...the Gray Birch I had in my old S4 was literally dark gray in color..no brown tones. I have the same wood in my A5 against the cinnamon seats (slightly more brown than Tuscan)...looks great.

I have the gray birch inserts on my S5 Cab with the tuscan interior and it is not yellowish at all, more of a dark grayish brown. While I generally prefer carbon fiber to wood inserts, I think the gray birch looks much better with the tuscan interior.

Sounds like a perfect match for the two-toned Black and Tuscan interior then.

Thanks
