Hello,
I just found that my car has a rust issue and the paint on a spot is damaged.
It's just at the corner just behind the front fender (kick or rocker panel perhaps it's called??) , there is a piece of plastic that I probably need to remove but I am not sure how.
I hope someone can help on how to remove the plastic part indicated by the red arrow and also suggestion what I can do to fix the rust issue would be greatly appreciated.

tap with wood wedge and mallet, or get a thin flat blade screw driver, insert at the top of the clip and wiggle back and forth while pushing away from the fender lip...
