Hey everyone, been a lurker here for a while, but placed my order for a 2010 S5 back in April. Well, it arrived on Monday and I took delivery today! It is meteor gray, black interior, technology package and carbon fiber inlays.
First impressions is that this is an absolutely gorgeous machine, and all in all I'm very happy. The new MMI and display is really cool, and the graphics are a huge improvement over the last generation. And I was a little nervous about the carbon fiber inlay, but now am glad I got it.
I've only driven it a couple km's, but going to take it out for a long drive this evening. Will definitely get a better feel and impressions on the ride.
Anyway, I will try and post pics this weekend! But just wanted to say hi![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Congratulations, unfortunately I couldn't wait for the 2010 model to be released and had to buy an 09. I'm very jealous.
I hope someone in the community can do a retrofit of the 3G MMI, which is the big reason I wanted the 2010 model. I would be willing to install and buy the parts if it seems doable.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the congrats.
I definitely had a great weekend, took it for a nice long drive (have already racked up over 1000 kms on it!). I'm definitely even more impressed now than when I first picked it up. The torque in this engine is quite impressive, and even when travelling at 100km/h in 6th gear and you put your foot down, this car still pulls....hard.
The handling is excellent, and the ride is smoother than I expected....but still sporty enough to make you feel in control at all times. I definitely like the stiffness of the steering, Audi has definitely come a long way.
As for pics, well, I busted my camera on the trip, so I will be borrowing a friends and uploading soon, apologies for the delay.
And Imola, I'm not sure if you've seen this forum: http://audiforum.us/mmi/
But there is lots of discussion on MMI retrofits and upgrads.

Yeah there seems to be some info on retro fitting some Nav units but I believe it has been the MMI basic to the MMI High. I started a new thread there dedicated to retro fitting a 3G MMI into a 2G MMI on my 09 S5.
