Im the OP - and have no chrome rims!!!

Otherwise, don't see why it wouldn't? If anything, chrome is stronger then the clear-coat finish of silver wheels.

What's this? An American that knows something about Canadian politics? I'm impressed.

I love his tact. As a Conservative supporter, I'm proud to see it.

Audi brand cleaner is the same as P21S. I use it when I have a coupon for the parts dept, otherwise I go to the local Harley Davidson dealership and buy the S100 brand wheel cleaner (also repackaged P21S). It doesn't really make the wheel easier to clean, but the brake dust does stick to the wheel in a pattern that reveals where the cleaner drips and runs. Not exactly ideal, but it's a great cleaner that is safe for your wheel finish.

But I gotta try this Armor All stuff...

I haven't found this yet (to be able to read the instructions myself), but do you have to mask off the brakes before using this product? I'm worried this super-slick teflon won't exactly help stopping distances (or does it just burn off the rotors at the first stoplight?).

I hope this is not the real reason the wheels remain so clean (reduced braking performance = less dust LOL).

thats a good point, i have multi spoke wheels so it would be impossible for me to cover the rotors but - anything will burn off the rotors after the first few stops.

But a good idea would be to be careful pulling out the driveway the first time after application - you never know!

F-ING awesome avant you have btw!

Thx! Not as hot as your Ibis cabrio (the distinct shoes really set it off). Love your A3 too.
