thanks for the update. i ordered the first one, then found out it was the wrong one for s5 and re-ordered before they shipped the other one.

i had the electronic dipstick. POS tells me to add max 1.5 quarts and i add 2+ and still says low oil. tech at audi said i needed to add more...

I don't like the electronic dipstick. My a5 consumed about 1.5 quarts in the 2k miles and hasn't consumed any since. I have about 5k miles on it now. When I go to the oil level indicator it shows either full or right below full. Which is funny - which is it?

It seems to be erratic. When I first added oil, it would say that there was no information available regarding the oil level for about a day. Finally, it would register. I added the oil in .5 quart increments to be safe.

this is the best purchase ever. damn that electronic dipstick.

it does have rubber seals so you can prob leave it in. but knowing the dealer, they prob would wonder where it came from and take it out and you'd loose it.

everyone should buy one
