Default Oil levels and Readings by the MMI

I just changed my oil last night, my car told me it needed about 1 quart. After letting the car sit for 2 min, it wouldn't tell me an oil readout. Anyway, it has been 12 hours and the car still has "no info on oil level" on my MMI screen. Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? What do I do? Thanks.

When I changed my oil it took 2-3 days before the MMI actually provided an oil level reading. Eventually it did though.

Click on your Car button and it will be in that screen.

might have not been available in 2007-08 models???.. I have seeing an oil reading once when accelerating hard ( +120mph ) in the highway and in which time, my center odometer-display did inform me oil level was OK... sort of like the car telling me.. I am ok!! keep going!!! lol
